Why is the Global Deal important and what’s in it for companies and trade unions? How can this initiative lead to better labour markets and sustainable societies? How do the French and the Swedish labour market reforms contribute to these goals?
France is a strong supporter and partner in the ‘Global Deal for Decent Work and Inclusive Growth’ initiated by Sweden in 2016 together with the ILO and the OECD. Global Deal is a multi-stakeholder partnership for enhancing social dialogue and making globalisation work for all in the changing world of work.
